RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITIES
Communities are the collective residential places where we live and learn to grow as families and neighbors. These places must be affirming environments that enhance our initiation and growth as people in different life stages. We often evaluate places based on appearance of form. Appearance is important – however, function and connections within that form are vital to ignite our sense of adventure and affirm our growth as individuals.
In our Work we create both the layout of the place for community, and images of the entrances and the connections that define these communities. Too often the entrances of subdivisions become dueling contests of image and design. In our Work we approach each community design task to create a fitting form that defines these places for living and rest -- within a livable and connected neighborhood.
